Once your mind is goal oriented, your body will follow and make these thoughts your own reality!

Fitnessetti works to benefit all modes of fitness including cardiovascular fitness, balance, flexibility, muscular endurance, muscle strength and body composition. Fitnessetti includes High-intensity interval training (HIIT) and is ultimately the perfect mix of cardio and strength training. The focus on strength training increases lean body mass, while cardio burns calories and decreases fat (Strength + Cardio =  Increased Lean Body Mass / Decreased Fat).

Which is the most important part of the bicep curl; lifting the weight up or bringing the weight back down? Well, 95% of the people at your gym will get this question wrong. Bringing the weight up is important, but bringing the weight down in a slow and controlled manner is the MOST important part. This is known as eccentric muscle contraction. Now you can impress your gym crush with all the new exercise science information you just learned! The Fitnessetti Program includes eccentric muscle facilitation, creating more micro-tears in your muscle fibers so the muscle can grow back both stronger and quicker. Eccentric contraction is when the muscle both lengthens and contracts at the same time providing a tension that is 50% greater than a concentric contraction. The intensity increases as the muscle is lengthened. This contraction can be used in multiple different workouts by slowly lowering yourself during push-ups, squats, pull ups, etc. This will provide you with that extra challenge and push during your workouts due to the greater force that is exerted. This helps for a more slow and controlled movement and can also help prepare you for any explosive movements during the Fitnessetti exercises.

Let’s give special thanks to the high intensity aspect of the Fitnessetti workouts! The high intensity nature of this workout program causes Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption (EPOC), which makes it possible for the body to burn calories at a quick rate for up to 48 hours post workout session. This is due to the fact that the body needs to go through a longer recovery period since the workout is so intense and the result of this process is FAT BURNING!!!!

Each workout has a specific focus (e.g., lower body, upper body, etc.), but at the same time we are also doing cardio and targeting other muscle groups. This is important because if we only focus on one muscle once a week (e.g., legs once a week, abs once a week, etc.), there is too long of a rest period for that muscle group and thus, your wanted results may take longer. Fitnessetti is the perfect combination of hard work, sweat and fun and most importantly, it is results oriented!!
